Expertise Shared at Stanford PPRG Spring Colloquia 👨🏫
Forthright's own Greg Bovitz was delighted to participate in the Spring 2026 Colloquia series hosted by Stanford University's Political Psychology Research Group. His session, Designing and Managing Nonprobability Panels: A Practitioner's Perspective, highlighted Forthright's approach to panel methodology and the considerations that drive stronger sample representativeness in the nonprobability context.
The Forthright team welcomes opportunities to engage with teams of scholars and we're always happy to schedule private briefings for academic departments or research centers.
Join Us at the AAPOR Annual Conference 🤝
Forthright is heading to the AAPOR Annual Conference, taking place May 13-16 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. Greg Bovitz will be presenting "Building and Maintaining an Online Panel" as part of a plenary session featuring a moderated roundtable and audience discussion on contemporary survey research and data quality. The session will include speakers from government, academia, and the private sector, and we're looking forward to a dynamic discussion with leaders across the field.
The Forthright team will be exhibiting at the AAPOR conference and welcomes the opportunity to discuss your research needs at the event. We hope to see you there and would be glad to schedule time together in advance.
Study Spotlight: Voter Trust in Elections 🗳️
A team of researchers from UC San Diego, USC, UC Davis, UC Riverside, and Yale University recently partnered with Forthright to field a new national study examining voter confidence. The UC San Diego Center for Transparent and Trusted Elections released key findings from this research, indicating a significant decline in trust ahead of the 2026 midterms. Confidence that votes will be counted accurately has dropped from 77% after the 2024 election to just 60% today, with declines across Democrats, Republicans, and independents.
The study also reveals broad skepticism about redistricting fairness and concerns about the potential presence of ICE officers at polling places, which many respondents say would reduce their trust in the voting process.
Forthright is proud to serve as the panel partner supporting this important survey research.
